Teri Ross has over 20 years of executive level experience in apparel manufacturing and marketing in the US, Europe and Far East. She started the clothing divisions for both Avia and Brooks Shoe Companies, where she served as Director, Designer, Merchandiser and Product Manager. Her entrepreneurial approach to the sewn products market lead her to develop several products, including a CAD training video, FashionFindings digital clip-art, and the award winning publication techexchange.com, which she sold to TC2 in 2002. Since then, Teri and her team have been leveraging their Internet Marketing experience to help companies improve the ROI of their online marketing investment.
Warren Hartenstine has over 30 years of experience managing the implementation and support of complex manufacturing technologies in the international sewn products industries. Prior to heading up Gerber Technology's sales team in Western North America through mid-2002, Warren was founder/CEO of Tower Group - a consulting company providing strategic and management expertise for early-stage technology companies - and president of Kannegiesser USA. He has also held senior positions with Herbert Kannegiesser Corp., Cutters Exchange, Sussman and Rubenstein Bros in Canada.
Lenda Jo Connell is a Professor at Auburn University with over 25 years of experience in apparel product development and apparel production management using leading edge technology to solve industry problems. Her research areas include body size and shape evaluation, consumer style preference testing, co-design, and sourcing. Using National Textile Center funding, she specialized in understanding consumer interest in mass customization. She has extensive experience conducting product development oriented focus group research for Vanity Fair, Russell Corporation, and Wal-mart. She has worked with industry in the CBI and Central America. Industry recognized her work in her selection as Bobbin Educator of the Year for 2002.
